Dedicated bolt catch for .22lr AR-15s
When a standard AR-15 is converted to .22lr through a conversion bolt or replacement upper, the bolt catch stops working. The Catch22 regains that bolt catch functionality when using a .22lr bolt.
With CMMG and Black Dog style magazines (with the follower that sticks up above the mag), they allow a the bolt catch to be manually engaged/disengaged.
When used with S&W 15-22 magazines (and a shim) they allow the bolt to be held back after the last shot which provides a true last-round-hold-open like a standard AR.
